Sandra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Sandra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Sandra will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Jones and Adele Jones; her husband J. M. "Mike" McQuiston; and her sister Daphine. She is survived by: her children, Jean Richards (Rob), Mike McQuiston (Linda) and Sarah Talbert (Mark); and her great grandchild Benson. She is also survived by son nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butherus Maser and Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510). A rosary was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Risen Christ (3500 Sheridan Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68506).
