She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Altendorf (Copp) and Edward Altendorf; her sister Barbara Sue; her husband Samuel; her parents-in-law, Sam and Jane Rankin; and her grandsons, Remington and Camden Rankin.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Patrick (Vicky) of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Elizabeth (Aaron) of Denton, NE., Brendan Rankin (Pilar Hsue) of Palo Alto, CA and French Rankin (Jamie Morton) of Murfreesboro, TN; her grandchildren, Robert Sieh (McKenna) and Laura Sieh; her great grandchild Callum Sieh; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Weckesser (Tom), Mary Ellen Davis (Bob), Rita Rinehart (Kurt) and Sally Carter (Don).
