He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Blum and Bette Blum (Jordan). He is survived by: his children, Kellie of San Jose, CA and Dylan of San Jose, CA; and his sisters, Cindy Upshaw (Herb) of Lenexa, KS and Karen Williams (David) of Overland Park, KS..
