With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Lee Petzoldt (Lincoln, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Johnson (McBroom) and Richard Lee Johnson; and her in-laws, Alfred and June Petzoldt of Grand Island. She is survived by: her sons, Brian Petzoldt (Michelle) of Winside and Scott Petzoldt (Bridgett) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Morgan Christiansen (Steven), Courtney Petzoldt of Winside and Grayson Petzoldt of Omaha; her great grandchild Lynn Christiansen of Albion; her sister Sharon Johnson (Ron) of Lincoln; and her nieces, Michelle Johnson (Steve Cummings) of Lincoln and Melissa Dougherty (Bryan) of Lincoln.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home (4040 A St, Lincoln, NE 68510).
In honor of Susan's love for children and family, memorials are requested to Nebraska Children's Home Society.
