With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Taffy Hastings in Lincoln, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Taffy left this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Brown and Doris Brown (DeCou); and her siblings, Thomas Edward Brown, James Lewis Brown, George Allen Brown and Lola Elwin Fisher.

She is survived by: her husband Victor Hastings of Ogallala; her children, Tammy Hutcheson (Justin) of Elsie, Christy Stone (Steve) of Fairmont and Travis Hastings of North Platte; her grandchildren, Tomarcus and Asher Hutcheson; her children, Isaac and Brooklyn Stone; and her sister Alice Johnston of Elgin. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bullock-Long Funeral Home (409 Warren Ave, Grant, NE 69140). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Elsie United Methodist Church (404 Madrid St, Elsie, NE 69134). A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at the Elsie Cemetery (34675 County Rd 760, Elsie, NE 69134).

A memorial has been established in Taffy's memory for later designation by her family.
