He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lyle and Marjorie Ann Anderson (Shaw); his wife Shirley Reye Johnson; and his siblings, Margilu, Bob and Jim.

He is survived by: his children, Shari Anderson, Todd Anderson (Katie Meininger), Terry Anderson (Kelli) and Lori Rush (Philip); and his grandchildren, Walker Anderson, Chase Anderson, Tate Anderson, Kaia Anderson, Max Rush, Eliot Anderson and Ben Rush.
