He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Dewey Hill and Thelma Robb; and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Steele; his daughters, Julie Tvrdy (Doug) and Rebecca Tomhave (Scott); and his brother Jack Hill (Peggy).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to St. Mark's Methodist Church.
