She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brengelman and Bessie Brengelman (Clark); her husband Gerald Thiem; and her siblings, Virgil, Robert, Anna Marie Brengelman, Donna Malone and Lois Bisel.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Carlson of Sonora, G. Lynn Thiem (Laurie) of Lincoln, Tim Thiem (Liz) of Colorado Springs and Gail Ingledew (Don) of Fairmont, Minnesota; her siblings, Bette Staub (Harold) of Waterloo, Jeanne Young (Lanny) of Albion, Nebraska and Richard Brengelman (Karen) of Leawood, Kansas; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Brengelman of Waterloo, Nebraska and Paul Bisel of Greeley, Colorado.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church for kitchen renovation.
