Vera A. Savage Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera A. Savage of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on May 24, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Vera is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Vera's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Humphreys and Ila Zugmeir Humphreys; her son William E. Savage, Jr.; and her sisters, Marcille Williams and Lucille Knopp.

She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl of Omaha and Deborah Kipp (Gary) of Omaha; and her grandchildren, Gregory Kipp and Catherine Kipp. She is also survived by good friends, and caregivers.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be sent to St. Jude Research Hospital.
