She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Merrell and Helen Merrell; her sister Sandra; her former husband Richard Roedel; and her husband David Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Roedel (Angie (Minnesota)), Shawna Herechski (Lincoln), Rob Roedel (Kimberly (Arizona)) and Stacey Roedel (Lincoln). She is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
