He is survived by: his wife DeLores; his brother E. Duane Bechtolt; and his children, Linda Steffen, Daniel Bechtolt, Dennis Schmidt, Dean Schmidt (Gayle), David Schmidt (Paulette) and Kristie Hinrichs (Marc).
