He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence C. Connell and Mary A. Connell (Steele); and his brothers, Robert (Judy) and Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Carlson of Hay Springs, NE.; his children, Cindy Stoeckle (Matt), Crystal Stirling (Ruffin), Wayne (Diana), Wendell (Joanne), Wilburn (Karen) and Coleen Schroetlin (Neil); his grandchildren, Callie Stoeckle, Nick, Noah Stoeckle, RJ Stirling, Sarah Komesu (Bruce), Jesse Stirling, Grace Stirling, Molly Stirling, Joshua Connell, Josiah Connell, Meggan Gosnell (Ben), Emmalee Connell, Ashley Dick (Connell), Cassidy Snyder (Ty), Seth Connell, Malachi Connell, Alec Schroetlin and Hunter Schroetlin (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Harlow, Hadleigh Dick, Eramias, Kharia Benson, Kiyona, Ezekai, Jovie, Reina Komesu, Archer, Piper Snyder and Bria Schroetlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Bill's legacy by giving to the ministry of Royal Family Kids Camp, an organization dedicated to helping abused and neglected children in the foster care system.
