He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlin Hershberger and Laura Hershberger (DeWitt); and his brother Jay Hershberger. He is survived by: his half-sisters, Linda Moore and JoAnn Brethouwer of Lincoln; and his nieces, Beri Edwards (Rob) and Raechel Hershberger (Lincoln).
