He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Leitgeb and Evelyn Leitgeb; his spouse Marvelle Clark; his sons, John and Phillip; and his sister Joan Kozisek.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sue Bade (Steve) of Bartley and Jane Quiring (Roger); and his grandchildren, Nicole Kerchal (Tyrel) of Moorefield, Katie Schutte (Tom) of Bartley, Matt Bade (Anna) of Bartley, Lara Ricketts (Caleb) of Baltimore, MD and Beth Quiring. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
