He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kortus and Gerrittje Kortus (Van Malkenhorst). He is survived by: his wife Agnes Scholten; his sister Henrietta; and his sons, Terry (Michele), Rob (Julie) and Tom (Erin). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
