William J. Mangers Obituary
We announce the death of William J. Mangers of Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on September 11, 2026, at the age of 64. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mangers and Patricia Mangers (Rader); his son Joshua; his siblings, Pam Morgan (John), Jerry and Ralph Harrington; his stepfather Alvin Helton; his stepbrothers, Terry and Tom Scott; his siblings-in-law, Dave VanAmburg and Andrea Harrington; his nephew Jeff Harrington; and his great-nephews, Cody Morgan, CJ Morgan and Michael Schulz.
He is survived by: his wife Jana; his children, Krista, Travis and Alex (Jazmine); and his siblings, Jim Harrington, Ken Harrington (Kathy), Terry Harrington (Teri), Alvie VanAmburg, Jim Helton, Rita Schulz, Mary Bishop, Nancy Fielder (Rick) and Paula Shafer (Paul).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Havelock Social Hall (4538 N 62nd St, Lincoln, NE 68507).
Memorials can be directed to April Sampson Cancer Center in honor of "Bo" Mangers – he would say buy WD40 for the squeaky chairs.
