He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shewey and Margaret Ruby; and his siblings, Mary Phelps, Brenda Neumeister, Vickey Rippeto and Daniel Lang.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathy Cash; and his son Larry Shewey. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
