He was predeceased by: his parents, John Niemeyer and Carrie Niemeyer (Nienaber); his wife Madeline Niemeyer; his son Edwin Niemeyer; and his son-in-law Brian Gansemer.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Donna Niemeyer), Bernie (Linda Niemeyer), Charlie (Sandy Niemeyer), Alan (Lori Niemeyer), Randy (Shannon Niemeyer), John (Sherri Niemeyer), Patrick (Ferol Niemeyer), Brian Niemeyer, Kathie (Tim Preister), Carolyn (John Stankiewicz), Jane, Mary Gansemer and Sandy (Mark Petrone). He is also survived by one 27 Grandchildren 30 Great Grandchildren 1 Great-Great Grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (103 3rd St, Lindsay, NE 68644). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Genoa Medical Facilities or St. Croix Hospice.
