JoAnn will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor JoAnn by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though JoAnn is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. JoAnn’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parent Eugene "Jiggs"; her sister Vicky Beck; and her parents-in-law, Pat and Linda Slocum. She is survived by: her husband Brad Slocum; her daughter Joy Solomon (Bryan); her grandchildren, Shevin Solomon (Savannah) and Kaisha McLaughlin (Brenner); and her great grandchild Booker.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Litchfield Christian Church (102 W Gowen St, Litchfield, NE 68852). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials will be given to the Litchfield Christian Church, and the Litchfield Fire and Rescue Department.
