He is survived by: his wife Lanay Hansmeyer; his sons, Blake of Long Pine, Jett of Long Pine and Miles of Long Pine; his parents, Roy Hansmeyer and Judi Hansmeyer of Wilbur, NE.; his parents-in-law, Bill and Gerri Carr of Ainsworth; his siblings, Janna Cooley (Joshua) of Lincoln, NE., Lynsi Morten (Tyler) of Lincoln, NE. and Lukas Hansmeyer (Becky) of Hallam, NE.; and his sister-in-law Mikayla Spangler (John) of Elkhorn, NE..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hoch Funeral Home (1320 E 4th St, Ainsworth, NE 69210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Ainsworth High School.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the family for a college fund for Blake, Jett and Miles.
