She was predeceased by: her parents, Phin Smith and Myrtle Smith (Traphagan); her husband Guy James Hammon, Sr.; her sons, Guy James "Jim" Hammon, Jr., Randy Paul Hammon and Kevin Scott Hammon; and her siblings, Virginia Smith, Ruth Truax, Fern Sievert, Bernice Bessey, Betty Frye, Joyce Cantrell, Maxine Patak, James Smith and Jerry Smith.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Frances Hammon of Chicago, Illinois, Jason Hammon (Julie) of Boyd, Texas, Jeremiah Hammon (Jessica) of Livingston, Texas, Alison Moyer (Josh) of Bennet, Nebraska, Nate Hammon (Ashley) of Palmyra, Nebraska and Scott Hammon (Kelsey) of Omaha, Nebraska.; and her niece Carolyn Lee. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
