He was predeceased by: his parents, Ermon Kenneth and Helen Vernon Henson (Hall); and his granddaughter Kaylee Henson. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Henson (Shane) of South Carolina and Matthew Henson of Massachusetts; his grandmother Shona; and his grandchildren, Randi Jo Saturley, Makenna Henson and Katlin Jones.
