She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur F. Grashorn and Regina Westermann; her husband Loran R. Rose; her sons, John Rose of Lapeer, MI and Jeff Rose of Des Moines, IA; her granddaughter Avery Zakrzewski of Lincoln, NE; her siblings, Nancy Cohn (Ken) of Lincoln, NE, Vernon Grashorn (Jodene) of Louisville, NE and Kevin Grashorn of Bellevue, NE.; her stepfather Eugene "Cliff" Stump (Loran Rose); and her siblings, Janice Cheney, Connie Haney and Loren Grashorn. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Shirley's honor can be made to the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department.
