With solemn reverence, we commemorate Alta Mostek of Loup City, Nebraska, whose life came to an end on August 30, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Waskowiak and Gertrude Waskowiak (Krolikowski); her husband Clem of Josaphat's Catholic Church; her daughter Diane Tuma; her sisters, Rita (Paul Gorecki), Evelyn (Ray Gorecki) and Adeline (Reginald Jonak); her brothers-in-law, Melvin Bendykowski and Bill Gregoski; her in-laws, Michael and Teckla Mostek; Melvin Mostek, Florence, Gib Lewandowski and Geraldine Mostek.
She is survived by: her children, David Mostek (Kim Patrick) of Fremont, Michael Mostek of Loup City, Andrew Mostek of Grand Island, Patrick and Amy Mostek of Elm Creek; her grandchildren, Brandon, Tina Tuma, Kayann, David Skibinski, Denise, Ryan Kucera, Carmen, George Toman, Mason Mostek, Anthony, Brittany McClary, MacKayla, Tanner Hemmingsen and Nickolas Mostek; her sisters, Leona Bendykowski of Arcadia, Emily Gregoski of St. Paul and JoAnn (Bernard Danczak); and her sister-in-law Ellen Mostek of Loup City. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Josaphat's Catholic Church (704 N 9th St, Loup City, NE 68853). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (79143 474th Ave, Loup City, NE 68853).
Memorials are suggested to St. Josaphat's Catholic Church or to the family for later designation.
