He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle A. Glinsmann and Virginia Mae Glinsmann (Brumberg); his brothers-in-law, John Royer, Larry Elliott and Max Ford; his parents-in-law, Richard and Marlene Yelkin; and his aunt Janet Knippelmier (Yelkin).

He is survived by: his wife Cathy of Loup City; his siblings, Donna Ford of Wheaton, MO, Judy (Dave Hughes) and Steve; his sister-in-law Cathy Glinsmann of Ashton, NE; his sister Jenny; his brother-in-law Scott Walrath of Loup City, NE; his siblings, Amy (Greg Kotas), Tina (Shane Peterson) and Jamie; his sister-in-law Missi Glinsmann of Hickman, NE; his sister Sue; his siblings-in-law, Gerald Carkoski of Grand Island, NE, Judy Roach (Damon) of Louisville, NE and Steve Yelkin of Grand Island, NE; his uncle Bob; and his aunt Vivian Yelkin of Lake Ozark, MO.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
