He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew John and Edna Louise Spiegel (Kemper); his brothers, Robert, Jack and Jim; and his sisters-in-law, Gloria, Leoda and Pat.

He is survived by : his former life partner Candace Nedela; his children, Tamera Lee and Rodney Westlake (Angie) of Central City, NE; his wife Kathy of Loup City; his daughters, Tammy Stites (Shane) of Kalispell, MT and Cheri Taylor (Brett) of Glenwood, IA; his grandchildren, Trent, Travis (Kristi), Tyler, Trevor Wobschall (Ashley), Mitchell, Nicholas Spiegel (Shelby), MaKenna Spiegel, Amanda, Paige Sutton, Brandon Sutton (Lindsey), Brooklyn and Brody Taylor; his great grandchildren, Zalana, Evan, Maverick, Kallie and Klara; and his brothers, Bill, Dick and Kenny Spiegel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
