Clara left this world on May 19, 2026 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Schrad and Dorothy Schrad (Hartman); her father-in-law Richard Kaup; and her niece Carrie Kaup. She is survived by: her husband David Kaup; her children, Neil Kaup (Jennifer Ingram), Stacy Kaup (Aaron Lee), Kim Koenig (Jeremy), Joel Kaup (Tonya) and Jessica Cech (Daniel); her grandchildren, Nikko William, Candyce Kaup, Katryna Hartman, MaKinah Stenwall, Micah Stenwall, Keyleigh Stenwall, Nevaeh Kaup, Cash Renz, Carter Kaup, Tucker Kaup, Kaydence Cech, Everly Cech and Hadley Cech; her great grandchildren, Liberty, Amelia and Kensleigh; and her brothers, Gus Schrad and Michael Schrad.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (430 Lincoln St, Lyons, NE 68038). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
