He is survived by: his wife Helene Lase; his sons, Kelly of Longmont, CO and Kevin (Lyda) of Lyons, NE; his grandchildren, Taylor Neuhaus, Kaylie (Jackson Beal), Jacy (Joey Sloan), Shay (Spencer Bruntz), Gavin Neuhaus, Elena Neuhaus and Janae (Gavin Olson); his great grandchildren, Serenity Bruntz, Brantley Bruntz, Hudson Beal, Gracie Bruntz, June Sloan, Oliver Beal, Emerson Neuhaus and Sutton Olson; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Marian Metzger. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pelan Funeral Services - Lyons (204 N Main St, Lyons, NE 68038). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Lyons (1543 Co Rd 13, Lyons, NE 68038).
