She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schlender and Rose Schlender (Baumgart); her husband Lyle Freudenburg; her daughters-in-law, Peggy Freudenburg and Julie Freudenburg; and her sister Phyllis Forre.
She is survived by: her children, Robert of Madison, David of Norfolk, Gary of Madison, Debra Miller (Scott) of Battle Creek, Daryl (Danille) of Norfolk, Randy of Madison and Lori Knapp (Lonny) of Madison. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law; and four sisters-in law.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John Green Garden Church (82664 547th Ave, Madison, NE 68748). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In 2007, she was honored by Aksarben for sewing and donating quilts to the Orphan Grain Train.
