She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Hilkemann and Augusta Hilkemann (Koll); her husband Eugene Knapp; her sons, Bruce and Jeremy; and her siblings, Herman Hilkemann (Esther), Helen Amend (George), Edward Hilkemann (Betty), Fred Hilkemann (Ruth), Dorothy Thompson (Elmer), Ella Bohn (Willard), Gladys Spreeman (Alvin), Paul Hilkemann, Sr. (Violet), Herbert Hilkemann (Twila) and Walter Hilkemann (Clydine).
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Rea (Michael) of Tucson, AZ; her grandsons, Patrick and Jeffrey; her daughter Jeanette Kortje of Norfolk; her grandchildren, Travis and Stephanie; her son Brian Knapp (Dawn) of Madison; her grandchildren, Anthony, Melissa Johnson (Levi) and Brittany; and her child Lauri Knapp of Madison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
