Hegr of Madison, Nebraska, born in Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank, Jr. Hegr and Edith Geraldine Hegr (Jorgensen); and his sister Marie Havranek. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Leonard Havranek of David City; and his sibling's children, Charlene Steager (Bill Connot) of Valentine and James Havranek (Maricel Silva). He is also survived by niece, a nephew and many cousins.
Memorials are requested to the family to establish a Law Enforcement Scholarship in Leo's name at Northeast Community College.
