He was predeceased by: his parents, Derald Prather and Ruth Prather (Chandler); his son Kristopher Michael; and his brother Patrick Prather. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lee Claussen of John's Lutheran Church; his children, David "Joe" Prather of Madison and Miranda Heine (Patrick) of Norfolk; his grandchildren, Mae, Mark, Mikah, Lydia and Kris; his great grandchild Charlotte Stark; his brothers, Jeff Prather (Alvera) of Madison and James Prather (Theresa) of Madison; his sister-in-law Rose Prather of Norfolk; his aunt Joan Prather of Colorado; his uncles, Joe Chandler (Darlene) of California and Jerry Miller of Madison; his brothers-in-law, Delbert Claussen (Mary) of Carroll, Sandy Claussen of Norfolk and Keith Claussen (Cindy) of Carroll; and his cousin Dale Vonderohe (Bev). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
