She is survived by: her mother Jean Larkins (Imig); her daughters, Jamie Wessel (Adam) of Malcolm and Michelle Kvasnicka of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Hailey, Heidi, Chase, Colin Wessel, Kaleb Cihal and Mersadies Kvasnicka; and her brothers, Michael Larkins (Carol) and Steven Larkins. She is also survived by nephews and nieces.

“I met Cheryl many years ago when we found an injured opossum in our garage. She and another member of Wildlife Rescue Team, Inc. came and took it so it could be healed and released back into the wild. I never imagined years later our family would also become members of WRT. At that point, our path once again crossed with Cheryl. She was always a delight to visit with and full of knowledge. We kept in touch over the years on Facebook. She will be deeply missed. Lynne Knutzen-Young”
