He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Curtis Black and Joy Elizabeth Waite; his former wife Elaine Hyde (Ellen); his brother-in-law Lonnie Ondracek; and his great-nephew Noah Ondracek.
He is survived by: his sisters, Connie Ondracek, Carol Laux (Jeff), Deanna Palen (Eugene) and Laura Woods; his stepdaughters, Beth Baker-Schwimmer, Bonnie James and Julie Baker; and his wife Ellen. He is also survived by his family including his 7 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
In honor of Monte's memory, donations may be made to the Capital Humane Society Pieloch Center.
