He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Roberts and Mary Roberts (Kindig); his daughter Dawn Pitner; his brother Lt. James Roberts; his brother-in-law Col. Mark Beerthuis; and his niece Rachel Beerthuis.
He is survived by: his daughter Natalie Moats (Shane); his grandsons, Nathan of Alburn, NE and William of North Platte; his son Micheal Roberts (Sarah); his grandsons, James (Kelsey) of Brady, Jackson (Macy) of Brady and Jayce of Brady; his daughter Cassie Roberts of Paris, Tennessee; his son-in-law Eric Pitner; his granddaughter Kennedy of North Platte; his sisters, Suzanne Beerthuis of Alexandria, Virginia and Marita Brown (Jim) of Kirksville, Missouri; and his great grandchild Brooks Michael Roberts.
Memorials are suggested to The Wounded Warriors Project, St. Patrick's School Activities Association, or to the family to be divided between the two.
