She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby A. Matzke (Dallas) and Lawrence L. Matzke; her husband Lyle Wilcox; her son Steven Wilcox (Jean); her sister Reta Schwisow Alberti; and her brother-in-law Lauren Schwisow.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Betty) and Bruce (Debra) of McCook; her daughter-in-law Debbie of Aloha, Oregon; her grandchildren, Brandon (Molly), Brent (Crissy), Whitney Holewa (Gavin), Laura Clause (Matt), Sarah Powers (Adam), Elizabeth Ransom (Willie), Ethan, Grant (Gabby), Reid and Elsa; and her sister-in-law Constance "Susie" Skinner (Willis). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the McCook Educational Foundation in memory of Jean Wilcox.
