She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Barkley Fulton (Bart) and Barbara Emilia Rodgers (Bobbi); her husband Paul Zarkowski; and her siblings, Bobbie Nelsen, Peggy Buras, Meady Fulton and Barty Fulton.
She is survived by: her children, Paulet Gaboury (Paul) and Rob Zarkowski (Marilyn); her grandchildren, Stephanie Gaboury, Payton Blochowitz (Noah), Bart Gaboury (Jessica) and Walter Zarkowski (Tanisha); and her great grandchild Madalyn Gaboury. She is also survived by One brother-in-law, several sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ft. McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
Memorials may be given to Messiah Lutheran Church, North Platte.
