We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2023, at the age of 83, David William Hurst of McCook, Nebraska, born in Schenectady, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hurst and Dorothy Hurst (Williams); his children, Bradley Hurst and Lori Wiedenhoeft; his daughter-in-law Jill Wiedenhoeft; and his sister-in-law Sally Hurst.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hurst (Spindler) of Winter Haven, FL; his children, Lisa Hurst of Madrid, NE, David Hurst, Jr. (Sandy) of Haines City, FL and Brian Hurst (Cathy) of Mayfield, NY; his stepsons, Larry Wiedenhoeft (Kim Melkonian) of Fresno, CA and Les Wiedenhoeft of Grafton, WI; his brother Glenn Hurst of Winter Haven, FL; and his pet Justice. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
