Delores Kay Cappel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Kay Cappel (McCook, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Einspahr and Susie Einspahr (Herbert); her husband Claude Cappel; her son Douglas Cappel (DC); her grandson Justin Kraft; her great grandchild Isiah Cappel; her parents-in-law, Glenn and Loretta Cappel; her sister-in-law Geraldine Palmer; her stepgranddaughter Desirae Walz; and her siblings, Richard, Donald, Wayne, Robert, Alvin Einspahr, Norma Schultz, Millie Long and Beulah Purdy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Hayes (Dallas) of Greenwood, NE, Cheryl Blackwell of Tomball, TX, Steven Cappel (Kelly) of Culbertson, NE, Rodney Cappel, Pamela Cappel, William Cappel (Nikki) and Michael Cappel (Gloria Bechtal); her siblings-in-law, Kaye Einspahr, Marty Einspahr, Donna Callum and Richard Cappel (Kathie); and also Terri Cappel of McCook, NE.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (601 E 4th St, McCook, NE 69001).
