He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James and Dorothea J. Kofler (Wendorf); his wife Dixie Kofler; his granddaughter Amber Husted (Hiatt); and his sister-in-law CJ Stagemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Kofler (Teresa Norden) of Hastings, NE and Kimberly Mousse of Tahleguah, OK; his stepsons, Dennis Hiatt (Karen) of McCook, NE, Donald Hiatt (Linda) of Fort Worth, TX, Doug Hiatt (Bobbi) of McCook, NE and Ken Hiatt (Peggy Goss) of Pagosa Springs, CO; his brother-in-law David Stagemeyer of Virginia Beach, VA; and his close friends, Pat Dold, Shirley Carter and Carol Collicott (Robert Stecker). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
