He was predeceased by: his father Carl Smith; and his grandparents, Evaristo, Elvira Limones and Agnes Meek. He is survived by: his mother Josephine Smith (Limones) of Lyons, KS; his siblings, Michelle Schlesinger of McPherson, KS and James Smith (Rita) of Lyons, KS; his uncle Fernando "Bernie" Limones; his siblings' children, Amy Nye, Abby Bohnenblust, Travis Smith, Joseph Smith and Shawn Smith; and his great-nieces, Gage of McCook, NE. and Easton Lytle of McCook, NE..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Birzer Funeral Home (214 West Ave S, Lyons, KS 67554). A rosary will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
