She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Bamesberger; her parents, Hal DeMay and Martha DeMay (Jones); her brother William DeMay (Bill); and her siblings-in-law, Daniel Grubb and Diane DeMay.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne Perea (Steve) of Ozark, AR, Phillip Bamesberger (Janice) of Indianola, NE, Marcie Barnes (Todd) of Weldon Spring, MO and Matthew Bamesberger (Barbara) of St. Paul, NE; and her siblings, Jodi Grubb of Conroe, TX, Kathy Felix (Frank) of LaHabra, CA, Robert DeMay of Mesa, AZ and Carolyn Richards (Steve) of Lee Summit, MO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel (607 Norris Ave, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (411 E 6th St, McCook, NE 69001).
Memorials are suggested to the family of Janet Bamesberger for future designation.
