He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Honeycutt and Hazel Honeycutt (Tschacher); his siblings, Butch Honeycutt, Bill Honeycutt, Kay Eggers-Turner and Lynette Kelly; his brothers-in-law, Marvin Eggers, George Turner, Mike Jolkowski and Harvey Kelly; his nephews, Jeff Hoeft and Shawn Honeycutt; and his niece Jody Randall.

He is survived by : his wife Teresa Stunkel-Peterson of McCook, Nebraska; his siblings, Mike Honeycutt (Linda) of Grand Island, Nebraska and Jackie Hoeft (Tom Mayhan) of Omaha, Nebraska; his sisters-in-law, Barb Honeycutt of Rapid City and Lynn Honeycutt of Arizona; his daughter Cindy Nesiba; his parents-in-law, Dennis and Judy Stunkel of Broken Bow, Nebraska; and his sisters-in-law, Denise (Scott Kaelin) of Ansley, Nebraska and Rashelle (Mike Ryan) of Ansley, Nebraska.
