She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Scott Miller and Evaline Dorothy Fredrick Miller; her grandparents, Mae and Eddie Wimmer; her husband Floyd Hershberger; her daughter Laurie; and her sister Mickey.
She is survived by: her children, Brad (Angie Hershberger) and Bonnie Coffman (Randy); and her grandchildren, Chelsey Nichols (Corey), Sean Hershberger (Abby), Taylor Hershberger (Emily), Jason Payne and Rory Kristin Sykes (Trevor). She is also survived by four step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Joyce's name may be given to the McCook Humane Society, Prairie Plains CASA, McCook Arts Council, McCook Community Foundation, or First Congregational Church.
