Karen left this world on July 24, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Gettman and Irene Gettman; her husband Ron; and her brother-in-law Jerry Muehling. She is survived by: her children, Darrell Meister (Anita), Dan Meister (Jan), Larry Meister (Karla Sharp) and Joan Meister; her grandchildren, Joylynn Tagupa, Dennis Tagupa, Rosalia Tagupa, Erika Brownfield (Marshall), Chad Meister, Ryan Sharp (Jen) and Kyle Sharp (Susie); her siblings, James Gettman (Zoe) and Gera Beideck (Steve); and her sisters-in-law, Karen Petersen (Bill) and Mary Horvath (Cy). She is also survived by great grandchildren, a niece and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (612 E 4th St, McCook, NE 69001).
