He was predeceased by: his father David Fichtner; and his grandparents, Albin, Lavina Palic, Wesley and Vivian Fichtner.
He is survived by: his mother Colleen Fichtner (Palic) of Curtis, Nebraska; his wife Blanca Hernandez; his children, Juan Pablo Fichtner and Reilly Fichtner (Jonathan Miller); his granddaughter Haiden Miller of Minden, Nebraska; and his brother Jarred Fichtner of Hayes Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kent's name are suggested to the Hayes County 4H, the Hayes County Ambulance Fund, or the St. John's Lutheran Church in Culbertson.
