She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Sayer and Ida Sayer (Art); her husband DeWayne Hanchera; her in-laws, Bill Hanchera and Edith Hanchera-Clary (Bert); her half-brothers, Gene and Dick Tyrell; her son Robert; and her daughter-in-law Jan Hanchera.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Katherine) of Cedar Rapids, Daniel (Mary) of Houston and Scott (Kristyl) of Danbury Nebraska; her great grandchild Marissa Keldgord (Joshua); her children, Carter, Colton, Andrea Russman (Robby), Noah of Cedar Rapids, Nolan of Cedar Rapids, Nash of Cedar Rapids and Joshua Hanchera (Deaver); her grandson Wesley of Houston; her children, Gabrielle Hickner (Brian) of Houston, Rachel of Houston, Michael Hanchera of Houston, Ryan and Danielle Hanchera of Denver; the parent of her children Kelly Siedenberg; her children, Lindsay McConville (Lee), Elizabeth, Emma and Alex Hanchera (Melissa); her grandson Benjamin of Danbury, Nebraska; and her nieces and nephews, Cyndie, Deb, Monte, Terry, Gene Roland and Sherree.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (607 Norris Ave, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (411 E 6th St, McCook, NE 69001).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in LaVonne's name to Peace Lutheran Church, McCook Nebraska.
