She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Harris and Lottie Harris (Barnes). She is survived by: her husband Darrel Banzhaf of McCook; her grandchildren, Dustin Banzhaf, Shane Banzhaf (Rachel), Jeremy Meyers, Jessica Cline (Caleb Stallsworth) and Lacey Davis (Levi); her great grandchildren, Hunter, Wyatt and Brycen Davis; her grandchildren, Celeste Banzhaf, Madison and Anna Meyers; her children, Russell Banzhaf and Linda Banzhaf Thompson; and her siblings, Earl, Franklin, Hiram, Robert, William, Willie B, David, Larry, Louise Fields, Doris Bray and Maxine Goodwin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, life-long friends, and her church family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel (607 Norris Ave, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the McCook E-Free Church (602 E 14th St, McCook, NE 69001).
Memorials in Lucile's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
