She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Thompson and Mary Etta Miner (Stizel); her husband George "Joe" Hoelscher; her children, George C. Hoelscher Jr. and Barabra Jo Nelson; and her brothers, Melvin, Ivan, Wayne and Paul Miner.
She is survived by: her children, Beverlee Smith of Tucson, AZ, Jeff Hoelscher of Alaska and Donna Hoelscher of Indianola, NE; and her brother Ervin Miner (Bonnie) of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
