It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Cecilia Hayes in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on August 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Rayer and Elsie Rayer (Colling); and her brothers, Maurice "Joe" Rayer and James "Jim" Rayer. She is survived by: her son Mark Eugene (Brenda) of Bartley; her husband Albert Hayes of Catherine's Catholic Church; her son Leroy Hayes (Judy) of Cambridge; her grandchildren, Tracy Morris, Tyler Hayes (Lou), Darcie Keenportz (Josh) and Troy Hayes (Ashley); her brother Dick Rayer (Jane); and her brother-in-law Randy Hayes (Margene). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the family of Mary Hayes for future designation.
